The Lone Star Tourist is a lecture series sponsored by the Departments of Philosophy at the University of Houston, Rice University, Texas A&M University, and the University of Texas at Austin. This series brings prominent philosophers to deliver a series of lectures at each of these four departments. The series began in 1997, with David Lewis as the first Lone Star Tourist.
