The Residency Requirement applies to everyone who gets an undergraduate degree from Texas A&M. In order to fulfill the requirement, students need to take 36 hours of upper-division courses (300- or 400-level courses) at Texas A&M rather than at some other school. Courses taken towards your major can count towards this requirement, but courses taken at other schools cannot.
