Philosophy of Language


The philosophy of language is a highly interdisciplinary field of philosophy with connections to linguistics, logic, psychology, and literary studies. The key notions of the field include reference, truth, meaning, content, use, and form. The philosophy of language ranges from very abstract and general investigations to semantic and pragmatic analyses of particular words and phrases.
