Belém

| One day while in Lisboa, we walked a long way to the city of Belém, where we sat at a café watching modern trolleys go by. These were really long trolleys with really cool advertisements on the side (including one for Super Bock, the national beer of Portugal -- more on that later).

Then we went to the Jardim Agricola Tropical, where there is a nice collection of
tropical plants, including some enormous magnolia-like ficus trees (below, right).

Plus manicured hedges and the odd bird.
